The Kings Of Budget Rock, The Mummies are coming to Australia for the first time evs and will play Hermann’s Bar, Sydney Uni on March 10.

Rebelling against pretty much everything, The Mummies – Trent Ruane on organ and vocals, Larry Winther on guitar, Mazz Kattuah on bass and Russell Quan on drums – started a retardo rock and slopehead slop revolution in the late-eighties and early-nineties.

These bandaged kooks took rock ’n’ roll to all-new lows in an ambulance called the ‘Mummymobile’.

The Mummies died in 1994, came back from the grave briefly in 2003, and have only made rare appearances since. These Australian gigs are not to be missed. Ya here that? NOT TO BE MISSED!

Zombie Zoo Productions, Barfly Promotions and Sydney Rock ’n’ Roll Market present The Mummies (w/ Psychotic Turnbuckles and Los Tones) at Hermann’s Bar on Thursday, March 10. Tickets on sale through OzTix.

The Mummies will also play Max Watts, Melbourne on March 9 and Adelaide’s Kustom Kulture Weekend on March 11.
