Rural Victorian sludge wallowers She Beast have a new EP called Felch to plug.

Their songs are long but their interview answers are short. We usually prefer it the other way round, but this trio is worth a shot.

Lord Rat (guitar/vocals) gives UB the inside on the ’Beast from within…

Who’s in She Beast and what do they bring?
Acid Witch – bass, Gnome Lord – drums, Lord Rat – guitar/ vocals.

Where you all come from, and where did you meet?
Benalla, Nutfield, Cottles Bridge – all met at a barrel fire burning stolen election propaganda.

What’s five things that inspired the Felch EP?
Booze, horror, lactation, memory loss, booze.

What does “felch” mean – we are not educated in such things?
Alternative contraception with nutritional benefits.

Tell us about the making of Felch.
Recorded, mixed and mastered Felch with the one and only Jason Fuller (Goatsound Studios) over a weekend in the winter of 2015. Felch is currently self-released and available from our Bandcamp page.

What was the last song you wrote?
“Frog Nacho”.

What’s plans now?
We are going to be playing some more gigs towards the tail end of 2016 and also putting out another EP before the year is out.
