The Aints at the Bald Faced Stag, Sydney, Australia

On the 40th anniversary of the release of The Saints’ much revered first album ‘(I’m) Stranded’, founding member and guitarist Ed Kuepper assembled a new line-up (version 2.0) of The Aints to play songs from the band’s ‘73 – ‘78 era. Joined by bassist Peter Oxley (Sunnyboys), drummer Paul Larson (The Celibate Rifles), keyboardist Alister Spence and a 3-piece brass section, they performed songs off their 1977 debut full length, ‘Eternally Yours’ (1978) and ‘Prehistoric Sounds’ (1978). Songs featured in the set –  the first of two Sydney shows – included ‘Swing For The Crime’, ‘Messin’ With The Kid’, ‘Erotic Neurotic’, ‘Brisbane (Security City)’, ‘I’m Stranded’ and ‘Know Your Product’.
